Value Engineering

Value Engineering (VE) is a core part of our engineering solutions, focusing on new product development. By applying VE principles, we aim to reduce costs, improve functionality, or achieve both through teamwork-based product evaluation and analysis. This process occurs before any significant investment in tooling, plant, or equipment, ensuring optimal outcomes from the start.

We apply a set of parameters, including:

  • we apply a set of parameters namely type of product , priority of functions /aesthetics , DFA/DFM considerations , Specs & applicable standards, Product Life , manufacturing cost to meet all of these
  • We employ techniques like FMEA to decide severity of any bottle necks & plan solution for the same .Trade-offs between various options of design ,material & processes are considered a vis cost. Any virtual analyses required to validate strength/function/ manufacturing feasibility are performed
  • Tangible results in the form of a conclusive document specifying choices examined & those selected are produced. All supporting documents/reports are attached with this document.

To address challenges, we use techniques like Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify bottlenecks and plan effective solutions. Trade-offs between design, material, and process options are evaluated, considering cost implications. Virtual analyses are conducted to validate strength, functionality, and manufacturing feasibility.

The process delivers tangible results in the form of a conclusive document detailing the choices examined and those selected. All supporting documents and reports are attached, providing a clear and actionable roadmap for implementation.
